We stopped at the Rainbow Trout Ranch on the way from Cape Girardeau to Branson. I almost ran out of gas getting here and the owner was nice enough to give me a couple of gallons to get me to the next station. Great lunch and, if you like to fish, a great place to fish. They have rooms as well. Seems like it would be a nice get away.
